Achim Berg joins Viessmann Group as Operating Partner and Senior Advisor

February 2, 2024 – The Viessmann Group has strengthened its leadership team with another top expert. The family company announced today that Achim Berg is supporting the ramp up of the Group’s ecosystem of entrepreneurs and co-creators in his new role as Operating Partner and Senior Advisor, effective January 1st.

He is a connoisseur of both the European tech start-up community and private equity scene.  

Achim Berg has successfully held various top management positions with a proven track record as Supervisory Board Member, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Board Member, and top leadership roles at Allianz, nucom (Pro7), arvato (Bertelsmann), Microsoft, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens, and Dell, amongst others. Achim Berg has been President of the German IT and Telecom industry association BITKOM, as well as   former Vice President of the German industry association BDI.
