Bielefeld/Allendorf (Eder), Nov 26, 2021  – Goldbeck GmbH and Viessmann Climate Solutions SE want to work even closer together in the future. Representatives of both companies have signed a memorandum of understanding declaring this. A cooperation agreement that focuses mainly on the decarbonization of the building sector is envisioned. It should provide the basis for a systemic partnership to supply equipment and components.

“Our goal is to further develop the systematization and standardization in the area of building services for our buildings. We are delighted to have found a strong technological partner to achieve this in the Viessmann Climate Solutions Group,” said Goldbeck signatory Andreas Harnacke explaining the decision to cooperate. “Our customers in particular will benefit from this development – especially in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.”

Representing Viessmann Climate Solutions SE, Dr. Alexander Hoh said: “The mission statement that has guided us for so many years is: we create living spaces for generations to come. In Goldbeck, we have found a partner who is a European leader in the area of commercial real estate and municipal buildings. With the help of our joint environmental solutions, we will be able to make a key contribution toward making the building sector more energy-efficient, reducing its CO2  emissions and thus fulfilling the requirements for it to become climate-neutral.”

In addition to the establishment of a systemic partnership for the supply of equipment and components, the targets of the cooperation listed in the joint memorandum of understanding include the joint development of research and development topics and the exchange on sustainability topics and corporate strategies, particularly regarding the decarbonization of the building sector.
