Viessmann as "Excellence Partner" at GREENTECH FESTIVAL
For three days, everything at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL revolves around green technologies, innovations in sustainability and ways out of the climate crisis. Viessmann was there as an "Excellence Partner" – with an information booth on hydrogen technologies, among other things, and represented by CSO/CMO Thomas Heim, who spoke on alternative energies as a panelist on the main stage. The GREENTECH FESTIVAL took place from June 16-18 in Berlin and online.

Hydrogen in the Here and Now – Family Businesses as Innovation Drivers on September 8, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Maschinenraum Berlin
Hybrid event with transmission via livestream! Exciting panels discusses what role H₂ can play in the energy and building turnaround for crucial CO₂ reduction and thus for achieving climate targets.
Agenda:
- Dr. Stefan Kaufmann, Innovation Officer "Green Hydrogen" of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, fave an opening speech.
- Specific use cases along the hydrogen value chain were presented in short "pitches" by exciting companies such as Graforce, Sunfire, Neuman & Esser, Wystrach, etc.
- Max Viessmann gave a pitch on the use case for hydrogen at Viessmann.
- A panel discussion with Max Viessmann, Marco Voigt (Greentech Festival) and other guests from business and politics.

26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021
The COP26 summit brought parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. The UK is committed to working with all countries and joining forces with civil society, companies and people on the frontline of climate change to inspire climate action ahead of COP26.
