With #ViMove for Climate, the global Viessmann Family has already planted 150,000 trees, and the next round starts in January. Your new Garmin Venu SQ smartwatch will help you track your activity and send them directly to ViMove in the future.
The year 2020 has presented us with major challenges, but it also showed us that together we are strong, and together we can achieve great things. Our #ViMove for Climate campaign is just one example of this. We want to thank you for your amazing dedication this year. For Christmas, all members of the Viessmann family will receive a Garmin Venu SQ as a gift to help you stay active and healthy.
Start now in five steps
The Garmin Venu SQ tracks your activity in more than 20 sports – from walking, running and cycling to swimming, golf, yoga and pilates. It also measures your breath and heart rates, your energy levels and your oxygen saturation in addition to analyzing your sleep and sending an alert in case of emergency.
Every minute and every meter counts
5,000 members of the Viessmann family, their relatives, friends and Viessmann business partners participated in the #ViMove for Climate campaign over the summer of 2020, and they covered 296,751 kilometers. In return, our project partners CHOOOSE planted 150,000 trees. Our next joint goal: Another 150,000 trees. It starts on January 4, 2021, when the ViMove web app goes live—we will link you to it here as well. Join in–your Garmin Venu SQ smartwatch will help you out–and motivate your family and friends, as they can participate too.
From crosstraining to yoga
We have increased the number of sports to 20 so that you can include as many activities as possible. Find out how many kilometers you must hike or the number of minutes you have to ride your indoor bike for a tree in this overview:
Trees for people, and the climate
To make the most of #ViMove for Climate, we work with a professional partner who selects reforestation projects that align with our purpose. In doing so, CHOOOSE also makes sure that the projects are integrated into local communities and also directly benefit the people.
For the next 150,000 trees, we have selected two projects in Uganda and Kenya. Both are parts of the International Small Group and Tree Planting Program (TIST). Nearly 300 small groups with 2,000 members already participate. Nearly 1,000 project sites cover a total of 700 hectares.
