Key facts about your apprenticeship:

The apprenticeship is a dual study programme, combining on-the-job experience with vocational training, and lasts from two to three and a half years, depending on your chosen field.
You’ll benefit from comprehensive guidance from instructors and training officers, and enjoy additional support throughout your apprenticeship – for example, from a mentor in a senior year.

As a facility mechanic specializing in plumbing, heating and air conditioning, you will plan, configure and install building services engineering facilities and systems.

Your training will include:

Construction of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly systems
Planning, configuration, installation, connection and commissioning of technical supply systems
Carrying out maintenance and repairs, and offering customer advice
Individual practical phases in selected companies in the heating sector

Installing routing systems, information and power lines, and supply lines
Handover of systems and provision of services

As a mechatronics engineer for refrigeration technology, you will be responsible for planning and creating refrigeration, air conditioning and heating facilities and systems.

Your training will include:

Installation, retrofitting and maintenance of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems
Planning, manufacture and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Installation of electrotechnical and electronic plant components
Programming of instrumentation and control engineering
Work experience phases in selected companies in the heating sector.
